CARE AT FAIRLIGHT
We are a home of good care and our principal philosophy is to create a homely, friendly atmosphere where residents can enjoy many home comforts during their time with us.
The Care Quality Commission is the regulatory body of nursing and care home providers and care homes are inspected against required outcomes. At our most recent inspection in 2017, our care was rated 'good' and our overall service was rated 'requires improvement'. (www.cqc.org.uk)

We pride ourselves on the comprehensive support and care that we offer. This starts with our pre-admission assessment carried out by our Registered Manager and/or Care Co-ordinator to make sure the home can meet the needs of any potential residents. On admission, support plans are agreed with residents and relatives to ensure that residents have as much control over how they spend their days as they are able to.
There are 5 large day rooms across the two buildings at Fairlight.
We have a regular activity and entertainment programme including bingo, quizzes, musicians, puzzles, games and more.
The staff are trained to national standards and are here to provide 24 hours of nursing care. There is always a registered nurse on duty.
All our meals are cooked on site using locally sourced fresh produce wherever possible.
