ABOUT FAIRLIGHT
Over the years the home has been remodelled and refurbished a number of times; the newest addition was finished in January 2014 and has 28 bedrooms with en-suite wet room facilities.
This year has seen further refurbishment throughout and in some areas with a particular focus on being more dementia-friendly. We’ve also installed CCTV and air conditioning in some areas for safety and comfort.

Fairlight Nursing Home is a privately owned family business which has been caring for all in the community for 30 years.
We pride ourselves on providing a safe,

Our home is registered for 62 residents offering both nursing and residential care with qualified nurses 24 hours a day.
At Fairlight, our caring team create a homely atmosphere and encourage our residents to feel at home. Our doors are always open to family and friends.
Fairlight was the first care home in Sussex to be awarded 3 stars (excellent rating) by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (now Care Quality Commission). Care homes are now assessed in a different way. At our most recent inspection in June 2021, the inspector's report rated us as requires improvement - achieving good in 3 areas : Effectiveness, Caring & Responsive.
